The Honey Trap explored the theme of Metropolis. Many nature enthusiasts insist that cities are unnatural. The project used a hexagonal base to point towards bees who also live in their "cities." The project was an 86 foot long fibonacci spiral, which is based on the golden ratio, an inexplicable mathematical relationship found everywhere in nature and in early architecture, thus tying humankind inextricably to nature itself.
The project toured several festivals in the northeast before finally finding it's way to Burning Man where it came to a fiery finish.
